What is a portable application?
A portable application is a program that you can copy to any folder on your PC, notebook, or USB stick. Just unpack it and start it right away. JavaComm is such a portable. Want to remove it? No problem – just delete the folder, and JavaComm is gone.

New features in version 260807-PRE2
The user ID field has been removed from the “Edit Account” dialog.
The network congestion during simultaneous audio and video transmission has been resolved. Voice playback now starts earlier.
The log4j2.xml file is now loaded from the /etc directory. Program information can be adjusted without modifying the application.
The screen sharing self-test has been corrected. The test now verifies screen sharing reliably again.
